How to Check Voltas AC Warranty Online

How to Check Voltas AC Warranty Status

Knowing whether your Voltas AC is still under warranty can save you a significant repair bill if something goes wrong. Voltas offers a standard warranty on its air conditioners in India, and checking your warranty status takes just a few minutes — either online, through their app, or via customer care.

Voltas AC Standard Warranty Coverage

  • 1 year — comprehensive warranty on the complete unit (parts and labour)
  • 5 years — warranty on the PCB (printed circuit board) on many models
  • 5 years — warranty on the compressor on inverter AC models
  • 10 years — compressor warranty on some premium inverter models (check your warranty card)

Note: Warranty coverage varies by model and year of manufacture. Always refer to the warranty card that came with your AC for the exact terms.

Method 1: Check Voltas AC Warranty Online (Website)

  1. Go to the official Voltas website: www.voltaslimited.com
  2. Click on “Support” or “Service” in the top menu.
  3. Select “Warranty Registration” or “Check Warranty Status”.
  4. Enter your AC’s serial number (found on the nameplate sticker on the indoor unit — usually on the right side when you open the front panel).
  5. Enter your registered mobile number or email if prompted.
  6. Click Submit — your warranty expiry date and coverage will be displayed.

Method 2: Check via the Voltas App

  1. Download the Voltas Smart AC app from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store (applicable to Wi-Fi-enabled models).
  2. Log in with your registered account.
  3. Select your AC unit from the dashboard.
  4. Tap “Device Info” or “Warranty Details” to see your warranty status.

Method 3: Check via Voltas Customer Care

Call Voltas customer care at 1800-209-4555 (toll-free, Monday to Saturday, 9 AM to 6 PM). Keep the following ready:

  • Model number (on the indoor unit nameplate)
  • Serial number (on the indoor unit nameplate)
  • Date of purchase and purchase invoice

Where to Find Your Voltas AC Serial Number

  • Indoor unit nameplate — open the front panel and look on the right side or top edge of the unit body. The sticker shows model number, serial number, and manufacturing date.
  • Purchase invoice / bill — the retailer should have noted the serial number at the time of purchase.
  • Warranty card — if you registered the product at the time of purchase, the card has all details.

What the Voltas Warranty Does Not Cover

  • Physical damage from improper installation or accidents
  • Damage due to voltage fluctuations without a stabiliser (for models that require one)
  • Damage due to insect or rodent infestation
  • Normal wear items such as remote batteries and air filters
  • Repairs attempted by unauthorised service personnel

How to Register Your Voltas AC for Warranty

Register within 30 days of purchase to ensure your warranty is active. Visit www.voltaslimited.com, go to Support, and click “Product Registration.” You will need the model number, serial number, and date of purchase.
